Data Type: Base Maps; This dataset consists of township boundaries within the Prince William Sound (PWS) - Copper River ecosystem. Pacific GIS derived this layer from data obtained from the USGS EROS Alaska Field Office. Additional grid data layers covering the PWS - Copper River ecosystem include a 1:250,000 scale USGS quadrangle coverage (quad250), a 1:63,360 scale USGS quadrangle coverage (quad63), a latitude and longitude coverage (lat_long), and a section boundary coverage (sections).

Data Type: Boundaries; This data layer contains the boundary of Prince William Sound-Copper River basin ecosystem, including the watershed boundary enclosing the Copper River and PWS drainages and marine areas to the edge of the continental shelf.

Pacific GIS derived the section boundaries layer from data obtained from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Additional grid data layers covering the Prince William Sound - Copper River ecosystem include a 1:250,000 scale USGS quadrangle coverage (quad250), a 1:63,360 scale USGS quadrangle coverage (quad63), a township boundary coverage (township), and a latitude and longitude layer (lat_long) coverage.

Data Type: Boundaries; This dataset provides a digitized legal boundary for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge as interpreted from the Federal Register. This data is current to 1995. Accuracy of these lines are to the nearest meter for arcs that follow section, township lines and aliquot part descriptions.

Data Type: Base Maps ;Section boundaries were generated using BLM and DNR computer programs for the construction of digital aliquot parts. The programs make calculations from the radian measurements representing township corner coordinates. This coverage is intended to geographically represent DNR's protracted sections for offshore townships and is not capable of supporting survey quality area calculations.

Data Type: Base Maps ;This coverage contains the boundaries of the USGS protracted 1:250,000 quadrangle maps covering Alaska. It also includes annotation for the quadrangle names in the annotation subclass qmqanno.

Data Type: Base Maps ;This dataset contains the longitude lines which define the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Grid, zones 1-9, plus 59 and 60. Coordinates in the UTM projection are given in meters with numbers increasing toward the east and north. zones 1 through 10. The system of rectangular plane coordinates is established by the National Geodetic Survey, National Ocean Service, for defining and stating the positions of points on the surface of the earth for the state of Alaska.

Data Type: Boundaries; Automation of the locations in the Copper River Basin of 14(c)1, 14(h)1 and native allotments. This dataset is part of the multilayered subsistence database compiled by UAA ISER for Copper River Native Association (Record #061)

Data Type: Base Maps ;This coverage contains the boundaries of the USGS protracted 1:63,360 quadrangle maps covering Alaska. DNR converted corner coordinates from BLM, AEH files into ARC/INFO coverages. The unique tic numbering system allows future development of statewide digital libraries using these boundaries as reference tiles.
